Entry #6. Sports.

There are many sports that happen in today's day and age but there are really only three major professional sports. These three major sports are football, basketball, and baseball, they are the most popular because there are so many fans around the world who watch them on a regular basis. First, there is baseball which is a sport which consists of a batter, a pitcher, a catcher, a 1st baseman, 2nd baseman, 3rd baseman, a shortstop, and three outfielders. There are three outs and four balls results in a walk. If the batter hits the ball into the stands between the two posts it results in a home run. The excitement is crazy and the fans love it.

Then there is basketball which is my personal favorite. This sport consists of nonstop action. The athletes are running back and forth across the court constantly. 10 players are on the court at the same time, 5 players from each team. The goal is to get the basketball inside the hoop. You do that by shooting a three pointer, a two pointer or by shooting free throws. The sport is pretty simple and to me it is the most exciting sport out there and the fans love it.

Finally, there is football which most people consider is the most popular sport ever. It's been going on since the 1960's. How it works is there are 22 players on the field at once, 11 players from each team. The purpose of the game is to score the football into the other teams end zone. One touchdown is six points and a PAT is one point. Along with that, a field goal is three points. In addition, there are many positions in football such as quarterback, running back, wide receiver, tight end, linebacker, corner back, safety, and defensive lineman. This sport is very popular and will continue to be for a really long time.

Entry #5. Arizona Republic

In this article, it talks about how beginning in January Arizona State will begin to offer more shorter classes to students at Arizona State University. They are gonna be doing this because it will give the students more flexibility with their schedule when they work and other things. Also, it will help the students finish the course faster, graduate quicker and they will have to pay less tuition. ASU believes that by them doing this, it will draw more students to go there. In detail, the courses that are shorter are gonna be fifty minutes long and the classes will be going three times a week. To me, this article really got attention right away. As a student reading this, I believe this is a great idea what ASU is gonna start next semester. Right now, I am taking a fifty minute class and I go three times a week which is exactly what ASU is gonna start doing. This will affect me greatly but in a good way because I will be attending Arizona State in the next few years.

Entry #4. Batman.

He is my favorite fictional superhero. He has all the gadgets and everything which includes a weapon utility belt. Batman also has a cape to fly around the city. He wears a mask and his entire suit is black including his mask. Batman will only fly around and show himself at night as Batman but during the day he is a man named Bruce Wayne who is the owner of Wayne Enterprises. Everyone in Gotham has no idea that Bruce Wayne is actually Batman. He trains himself to fight crime and battles his archenemy the joker along with many other villains. In addition, batman also has a batmobile. Below are pictures of batman and that involve batman:

Batman is the best fictional superhero character EVER! ANTI-SUPERMAN!
Entry #3. Slanted Reporting.

Slanted Reporting is when a reporter or someone like that reports something but the report does not contain all of the details and info or just lying to the people who listen, watch, or read the report. Below is an example of Slanted Reporting:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFjwDzkqn5s

Watching this video makes me think of all the reports I watch and listen to when the news comes on the T.V.Are the reports they report true? And if it is true, are they giving us ALL of the information or leaving out very important parts of the report? That just makes me think...

Slanted Reporting can impact the audience greatly. The older community watches the news on a regular basis and if the news companies show their slanted reporting then they could lose viewers. In addition, the above picture says a lot. It is just not on the T.V. where slanted reporting consists, it also will consist in the newspaper. That is why the above picture has newspaper and the headline says "NO NEWS."
